If you look at my house, I'm very detailed, very picky with the work that's done in my house.
Alex is a painter and he's in the business of painting, skim coating, removing popcorn, and things like that. A friend of mine who's got 25 years in engineering and he's like "man, these ceilings really came out nice!" He couldn't believe the work that they did. It's hard to get a smooth, mirrored like finish texture on ceilings.
To me, it's very hard to recommend anybody or to say that they do good work because I usually don't say that. I just think you should be doing their job. I hire someone to do something, they should do a good job. It just goes without saying but it's hard to find that.
I've learned over the years to find somebody that shows up on time, he shows up even 10 minutes early or right on time. He does what he says he's going to do when he comes in. He gets the work done that he says he's going to get done. He protects the property, puts drop cloths down. I'm very happy with his work and he gets it done really timely as well.
Yes, I would definitely [recommend Soares General Services] because like I said, I'm picky, and it's hard for me to compliment somebody unless they really do good work. His prices are half, or less than half of other prices, than what we use in the industry so if I need a job, he can get it done for me for half the amount. |
